Statement from GLI President & CEO Donna Cryer on International NASH Day 2019

Thank you to the many partnering organizations, sponsors, and individual patients, physicians, and liver health advocates who came together to make the second annual International NASH Day a huge success. Together, we shed light on the hidden epidemic of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis. From Bangladesh to Belgium, Mexico City to Moscow, we launched events in our communities and made important strides in raising awareness of the disease. With more than 60 events in more than 20 countries — spanning 5 continents — we marked International NASH Day as a day of impact and action.

Global Liver Institute looks forward to next year’s International NASH Day, June 12, 2020. With continued support from the liver health community, we expect next year to be even bigger and better.
