The Burgundy Challenge: #Living Burgundy

On a lighter note, to foster broadscale engagement beyond the liver and cancer communities, we are launching The Burgundy Challenge: #Living Burgundy on Instagram. As many of you know, (hepatic) burgundy is the color uniting all liver health awareness, recognition and advocacy activities.

Here’s how it works:

Spread awareness about Liver Cancer by snapping a photo of you living your life in your burgundy - this could be anything from a photo of you in a pose in yoga class, cooking your favorite meal, walking your dog (extra points if your dog is also wearing burgundy) or cooking a meal with your dog while in downward dog for the ambitious. Then, post the picture with the hashtag #LivingBurgundy and tag three friends in your post to do the same. It’s that easy!

You’ll be helping to raise awareness and helping thousands of people facing the challenges of liver cancer. Let them know that they don’t have to face it alone, show them your support.

We’ll be choosing a select few of our favorite #LivingBurgundy posts to be featured on our account @GlobalLiverInstitute

Update your Facebook profile picture with our #LivingBurgundy frame to show your support!

Don’t forget to follow us on our Global Liver Institute Facebook page /GlobalLiver, and Twitter @GlobalLiver to stay up to date with all the  #OctoberIs4Livers events.”

Thank you,
